Key dates for the JWEF

The Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum, an organisation which promotes the development of entrepreneurship for junior entrepreneurs who thrive to create wealth and social justice, was a success in Lyon and Hangzhou. The JWEF in Hangzhou took place from April 19th to the 20th and was the result of an initiative of students from EMLYON Business School’s Global Entrepreneurship Program and Zhejiang University’s MBA. More than 300 participants came to share on the topic “Entrepreneurs: navigating change for sustainable growth”, with a specific focus on “starting with small assets”. A pitch contest was organised, with a professional board of investors screening the ideas of 12 teams (from the 200 preselected).

Today, the JWEF is organising its upcoming forums throughout the world! The next JWEF event will take place in Shanghai from June 7th to June 9th. The team has just arrived in Shanghai and is now working on preparing the event at the East China Normal University.

July 2013:
JWEF Singapore ( July 4th to 7th at NTU), JWEF Lafayette (US), and JWEF Kuala Lumpur .

September 2013:

JWEF Buenos Aires (September 7th and 8th), JWEF Santiago de Chile, JWEF New Delhi, JWEF Jordan, JWEF Istanbul, JWEF Sao Paulo, JWEF Québec, and JWEF India .
