This party was directed and performed by the MBA students of Grade 2014. It was a visual and audio feast and consists of poem reading, singing and dancing, Chinese opera, etc..

Next day, the Outdoor Expend Training (referred to as OET) was held to Grade 2014 ZJU MBA new students around West Lake on Sep 22, 2014. The OET aimed to make the students understand the history and spirit of “Truth Seeking” of Zhejiang University in the form of team work. A total of 380 MBA students attended this activity in uniform T-shirts with logos of ZJU School of Management and ZJU MBA.

The OET was considered as the first lesson after the opening ceremony, as well as a good opportunity for the new on-boarders to know each other for future academic cooperation. It combined an outdoor activity with the natural West Lake scene, simulated an open marking environment, and evaluated the teamwork based on team target, plan, resource integration, time management, team strategy, communication, innovation and comprehensive management capabilities, such as fast response to external uncertainties.

Sep 22 saw an obvious drop in temperature and an encounter with typhoon of “Phoenix”. However, bad weather did not stop students’ steps. Each score was earned by the great efforts of the team members.
