The ZJU Module’s cultural trip of Wuzhen

乌镇，长江下游1300年历史的水乡古镇，是国家5A级风景名胜区，中国十大历史文化的城市之一。3月18日，GEP的同学们在浙江大学MBA教育中心应译老师的带领下游览了这个中国著名的古镇。

Wuzhen, a 1300yearold water town on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, is a national 5A scenic area and one of China’s top ten historical & cultural towns.

On March 18th, under the guidance of teacher Yingyi, who is from Zhejiang University, MBA Center of SOM, GEPers visited the famous historical town in China.

早上10点，GEPers到达了乌镇西栅。江南水乡让外国同学们十分兴奋，走走停停，一路拍照。在丰盛的午餐之后，同学们开始自由参观西栅景区。古老的京杭大运河穿过乌镇。乌镇的水道和传统建筑、当地人的生活方式让外国同学们印象深刻。

GEPers arrived in Xizha of Wuzhen at 10 in the morning. The beautiful scenery of the water town in Jiangnan made the foreign students very excited. They took a lot of photos. After lunch, GEPers had time to explore Xizha by themselves. The ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal flows through the town. The waterways, the traditional buildings of Wuzhen and the way of living of the local people impressed the foreign classmates.

在东栅，GEPers们参观了乌镇古床博物馆。古床博物馆是中国第一个致力于收集和展示古董床的博物馆, 位于乌镇东栅街的210号。在博物馆内，GEPers发现了精致的带有不同地区风格的古床, 最古老的可追溯到明朝。

In Dongzha, GEPers visited the Ancient Bed Museum. The Ancient Bed Museum is China's first museum devoted to the collection and display of antique beds.It is located at No.210 Dongzha Street in Wuzhen. Inside the museum GEPers could find exquisite examples of the regional artwork, with the oldest beds dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

下午5点，GEPers结束了一天愉快的行程。在离开乌镇前，同学们在东栅入口合影留念。

At 5 pm, GEPers finished one day’s pleasant trip. Before leaving Wuzhen, we took a group photo to memorize this special moment in front of the entrance of Dongzha.
