Job Description: Market Research Intern

Global Ag Land Investment (www.globalaglandinvest.com) is a US boutique investment advisory. We are building a platform connecting world top flight wealth advisers and investment opportunity with Chinese investors.  We are looking for an intern to help conducting market research to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese investor’s needs and concerns in overseas investment and wealth management.  This would be a great opportunity for a student who has a passion in investment world and eager to learn the market opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1)     Help design the market research program,

2)     Identify various channels for market research;

3)     Identify and contact potential investors for research project,

4)     Provide help in conducting the market research through emails or personal interviews.

Requirements:

1)     A passion for investment world and a curiosity for learning;

2)     Enjoy challenges, creative, resourceful and a can do attitude;

3)     Hard working, reliable and entrepreneurial;

4)     Relevant experience is a plus, but not necessary.

5)     Fluent in Mandarin.

A self-start. The intern works by himself or herself with remote supervision and weekly meetings.  It's a part time position (around 8 to 10 hours/week) and no office hours, but needs strong self-discipline. Outstanding candidate would be greatly rewarded and with further career opportunity. The research project is expected to last about 10 to 12 weeks.
