Background of the Project

Tata Global Beverages (TGB) is an established player in the Tea Extractions business- with plants in India and US. To expand the business- especially for Green tea extracts and expand the product range, TGB and and Zhejiang Tea Group company Limited (ZTG) have joined hand and formed a JV Company. A new state of the art plant in China has been put up; it has recently commenced commercial sales in China- which needs to grow rapidly.

 

Key Project Deliverables/ Job description

-       Gain an understanding of the various  user segments for the Tea extractions products in China based on existing information available with the company – size / growth / competition Eg- RTD tea, Dietary supplements, etc.

 

-       Implement the Sales strategy of the company

 

-       Identify and approach B to B customers to generate business for Tea extractions

 

-       Gain a basic understanding of the technical aspects of the product portfolio to enable better customer interaction.
