欧盟委员会委员Wolfgang Pape博士讲座通知

  当今世界,高碳发展危机四伏,严重威胁着人类的生存与发展.低碳发展是人类价值观念、生活方式和生产方式的一场革命,是关乎人类可持续发展的重大课题.

  欧盟委员会委员、欧盟企业总署亚洲问题的政策官员Wolfgang Pape博士将在管理学院举行一场题为"欧洲产业政策和绿色增长"的讲座,介绍和宣传最前沿的新低碳发展观和绿色增长.

  Dr.Wolfgang PAPE简介:

  PAPE is currently Policy Officer for Asian issues in DG Enterprise of the European Commission in Bruxelles. From 2004-2008, he served as First Councillor of the EC Delegation in Tokyo, where he managed the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation with Japanese colleagues. Previously in Brussels, he was in charge of the 'Asia Strategy' in DG RELEX and contributed to the 'White Paper on Governance' of EC President Prodi. In the 1990's, Wolfgang was a member of the Forward Studies Unit of the President in charge of External Relations (incl. a fellowship at the Brookings Institute in Wash.DC). Beforehand, he coordinated Asian cases of anti-dumping in the Commission, having served as an EC-diplomat for six years in Tokyo until 1988.

  Educated in Kassel (D) and New York (USA), he studied law and economics at the universities of Marburg (D) and Genève (CH), before he was invited to research for his PhD during two years at Kyoto University (J) and Harvard Law School (USA) following his study of the Japanese language at Osaka Gaidai (J). He received his Driuris in Freiburg (D) in 1981 writing his first book on Japanese economic law. Before joining the European Commission in 1982, Wolfgang Pape worked as Advisor and Speech-writer at the Japanese Embassy in Bonn.

  His numerous publications in English, German, Japanese and French cover mainly Europe a well as East Asia ranging from cultural diversity to trade issues and global governance, for which coined the requirement of "Omnilateralism".
