Air Products was one of the first multinational gas corporations to enter the China market and set up its first joint venture company in 1987 in Shekou,Shenzhen. Since then, the company has been expanding its business and investment in China to become a leading supplier in the market. Its leading products and technologies supported China’s 2008 Olympic Games, 2010 Asian Games and 2011 Universiade, and Qinghai-Tibet Railway.

Air Products was the first global industrial gas company to establish an internal R&D capability of its kind in China. Today it is Air Products’ second largest R&D facility in the world. Program Introduction
The MBA Career Development Program is designed for recent MBA graduates who are interested in pursuing opportunities in finance and business. Our goal is to groom the future leaders of the company by giving participants the opportunity to enhance their professional and technical skills, clarify their career interests, and develop their leadership potential through three assignments over a period of 24-36 months. The program provides the opportunity for these new employees to gain diverse work experience and to learn the Air Products business, products, technologies and culture.
The CDP program is successfully used to develop our employees at Air Products locations throughout the world including the USA and in Europe.
Job Description--Business Decision Support CDP

Job Responsibilities
² Performs financial analyses of new investment opportunities and potential business combinations/acquisitions and supports the business team in development of commercial proposals.
² Prepares financial analysis in support of capital expenditure authorization requests for management review and approval and coordinates input/review with tax and treasury and where necessary performs US repatriated earnings analysis.
² Proposes Air Products’ position on financial issues during negotiations throughout the project development phase.
² Involved in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, business area reviews, capital forecasting, and strategic plans and often called upon to provide a coordinating role in these activities, as well as ongoing business reporting.
² May perform analysis on other financial issues such as dividend policy, ownership structure, currency-related transactions and issues and tax matters
Qualifications
² University degree in Business/Economics/Engineering, a good MBA is an asset
² Minimum 3 years progressive industry experience in financial analysis, experience in project analysis in a multinational is preferred
² Strong conceptual and analytical skills and ability to think strategically about business opportunities and investments. Must have strong commercial sense.
² Excellent initiative, ability to work independently with limited supervision and flexibility to adapt quickly in a matrix organization
² Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
